May 8: 170+ local dancers on stage in Kaleidoscope

Celebrate the art of dance during Romanza Festivale’s Kaleidoscope of Dance, on stage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8 in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, 14 Granada St., downtown St. Augustine. 
 
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.romanzafestivale.com. Tickets also will be available at the door prior to the performance.
 
When advance tickets are purchased, ticket-holders are entered into a Ticket Giveaway for The Gipsy Kings concert on May 6 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. FIVE PAIRS of tickets will be given away. Deadline for the giveaway is May 1.
 
Approximately 175 dancers, representing age ranges from middle school through senior citizen, will perform 18 dance numbers. Genres include ballet, tap, ballroom, bellydance, jazz, hip hop and contemporary.

Dance groups include the Ancient City Sirens, Blue Lotus World Dance,
COA Broadway Babes, Florida School of the Arts, Menendez Dance Ensemble, Noise Complaint, The Perla Ballet, Rhythm Theory, St. Johns County Center for the Arts Dance Students, St. Augustine Line Dancers, Three Hearts Dance, Matanzas Tap, Honey Burton and Robert DeRochemont, Margarita de Venezuela, and ballroom dancers Shawn Michael White with Donna Boswell and Kim Fader.

Join us in Saint Augustine from May 4-13 for a celebration of art and music in America’s Most Romantic City featuring 80 events and exhibits by dozens of organizations. Daily events include music and dance performances, concerts, art shows, dramatic productions and much more at locations throughout the city.
Many events are free and admission is required for the others. Getting around town to enjoy the events during the 10-day Romanza Festivale in St. Augustine should be a breeze.
