The 20th Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival features a HUGE lineup on local, regional and national entertainment — with former St. Augustine resident Kaylee Rose opening for the Marshall Tucker Band on Saturday, April 2. Other musical groups include The Ivey West Band opening for headline Marc Broussard on Friday, April 1. See the full entertainment schedule below.

Kayla Rose will open for the Marshall Tucker band at the 2016 Rhythm & Ribs Festival. She will perform from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at Francis Field.

The event also includes some of the best barbecue vendors in the U.S.; a kids zone with rides, bounce houses, and activities; and Kiss the Pig, a fundraiser that benefits Learn to Read of St. Johns County, where area celebrities and business leaders vie to raise money and kiss a live pig!

The event is hosted by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club, with money raised going to local charities. The club was formed in 1988 as an offshoot of the Noon Club, with 35 charter members. Today, with more than 86 community leaders, members meet once a week for fellowship and to plan how to give back to the St. Augustine and St. Johns County community. Over 200 volunteers put in more than 2,000 hours to run the festival for three days. Additionally, thousands of hours are spent planning the festival throughout each year.

The festival is held each year at Francis Field, 29 W. Castillo Drive, downtown St. Augustine. See hours and admission prices below. Festival-goers can bring chairs and blankets for seating. Coolers and pets are not allowed. No advance ticket sales; admission can be paid at the gate. Go to rhythmandribs.net for more details.
