GREAT CHOWDER DEBATE
The 30th annual Great Chowder Debate continues from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Conch House Marina and Resort, 57 Comares Ave. Proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

More than 30 restaurants are donating their time and chowders for the event. Chowders are judged by an independent panel.
ANTIQUE CAR SHOW
The 30th annual antique car show sponsored by Ancient City Auto Club is Nov. 22 on the campus of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, 207 N. San Marco Ave. Registration is from 8 to 11 a.m.Â Trophies, for first through third places will be awarded at 3 p.m.

In addition to a display of cars ranging in age from the early 1900s to 25 years old, entertainment includes line dancing, a 50/50 drawing and door prizes.
HOLIDAY HOME TOUR
Tickets are now on sale for the 46th annual Christmas Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Garden Club of St. Augustine. This yearâ€™s tour, â€œChristmas in the Ancient City,â€ continues from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 7. Tea and a boutique are from 1 to 5 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Parish, corner of St. George and King streets.
Tickets are $25 and are available in advance at Carterâ€™s Jewelry, Anastasia Publix Plaza; Flowers by Shirley, Ponce de Leon Mall; Leonardiâ€™s Nursery, 902 Anastasia Blvd.; Southern Horticulture, 1690 A1A South; Tre Sebastian, 304 Anastasia Blvd.; Whetstone Chocolates, 13 Anastasia Blvd.; and Hammock Gardens, A1A, Palm Coast.

Will call tickets must be paid for in advance and are available from 11 a.m. at the tea and boutique at Trinity Episcopal Church Dec. 7. Early purchase is recommended because the tour is usually sold out before the tour date.
The Putnam County Library System is sponsoring a Lego Contest. Entries can be created by folks of any age from the young to the young at heart. Judging will begin at 10 a.m. Nov.8 in the meeting room of the Headquarters Library at 601 College Road in Palatka.
There will be four age groups for contest participants and their entries: young children (0-8), older youth (9-12), teens (13-18), and adults (18+). The first-place winner of each age group will receive a $25 Visa Gift Card, and each group will have an Honorable Mention.
All entries must be created at home and brought to the Library on the judging day. The entries will be judged on the basis of creativity. Participating in the contest is free and preregistration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.
The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club will host a fundraiser: “Being Thankful” fall fashion show for the family Nov. 15 at the Sawgrass Country Club Golf Clubhouse. Holiday boutiques and luncheon are also part of the day’s festivities, which continue from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
