Republican Club of Greater St. Augustine meets at 7 p.m. Monday, April 11 welcoming as special guests scholarship winners.

Election of officers follows the presentations. All paid members may vote.

The dinner menu includes sandwich platters from Publix with deviled eggs. Those attending are asked to bring sides and desserts.



The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club presents “Dance in Style” Saturday, May 7 at the Sawgrass Country Club, 10034 Golf Club Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach. Doors open at 10 a.m. for coffee and boutique shopping. There will also be silent auction items and raffles.

It’s Mother’s Day weekend so this would make for a wonderful outing to attend, look for last minute gift ideas. Local students will be playing background music as you shop the boutiques. There will be live entertainment that just has to be seen. This will be an energizing event so you will feel like getting up and dance while you’re seeing the latest fashions!

Tickets are $50 per person. Advance sales only due to limited seating capacity. Luncheon menu is chicken marsala, mashed potatoes, asparagus, salad and a chocolate lava cake for dessert, coffee and tea. Cash bar. Proceeds to benefit the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St. Augustine.

The PVWC membership year ends with the May meeting that will be on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 1130 at the Sawgrass Country Club. Our guest speaker will be a Cruise Travel Agent that will talk about “Dream  Vacations, Exotic Places and Luxury Travel Tips”.  Please go to our website for RSVP information under the events calendar. The PVWC membership year is from September through May. The PVWC has been helping area charities for over 45 years and will continue to do so through the help of our members and the generous support of the surrounding communities. Please think about making a difference in someone life and join the PVWC. The PVWC is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization and all members are volunteers.
