Cool-Down Fest July 25 At The Hastings Library

Great White

Looking for some relief from the heat?

If you’re in Hastings Friday evening July 25, drop by the Hastings Branch of the St. Johns County Library System for the Great White Cool-Down Fest.

All things cool are being celebrated and that includes a photographic exhibit by Sandra Birnhack and David Barr documenting their travels in Antarctica. You may remember their totally eye-grabbing and tooth-showing picture of a leopard seal.

Also helping get you in a more chilled out mood will be the showing of the movie “Frozen.” Sno-cones are on the menu, and librarians promise a few other fun events.

It begins at 6 p.m. at the library, which is housed in Hastings City Hall at 6195 South Main St. If you’re coming from St. Augustine, turn left at the stop light on State Road 207. Admission is FREE.

Frozen will be on screen.
