ST. AUGUSTINE, FL — Clear Channel Outdoor has donated a billboard to the St. Augustine Humane Society.
The 12-foot by 48-foot billboard appears on I-95 one-half mile south of County Road 210 for one month. The signage will promote the Humane Society’s fourth annual pet calendar fundraising program which is designed for pet owners to participate in an annual photo contest for a feature in the 2015 calendar.
Billboard artwork and the Pin Up Paws calendar design was created as a donation by local artist Maribel Angel.
The “Hot Pets and Hunky Heroes” calendar will feature pets alongside heroes from St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, St. Johns County Fire and Rescue, St. Augustine Beach Police, St. Augustine Fire Department, St. Johns County Animal Control, and Flagler Hospital. Winners will receive a professional photo session with local, renowned photographer Addison Fitzgerald to be featured in the calendar.
The effort supports the non-profit’s mission to eliminate the need to relinquish pets to shelters through a wide variety of services and programs.
