Family-friendly FUN at St. Augustine Seafood Festival

While SEAFOOD (and lots of it!) are the main feature of this weekend’s St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival, there are PLENTY of family-friendly activities for ALL AGES! The 34th annual event is set for March 6-8 at Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine. Children 12 and younger are admitted FREE with a paying adult (only $3 for adults at the gate!).

FREE Meet & Greets with popular children’s characters will be available throughout the three-day event. Here’s the schedule:

Spanish Landing Area

  • Friday, March 6: 4 to 6 p.m. Snow Princess (Anna or Elsa) and Ice Harvester
  • Saturday, March 7: 2 to 4 p.m. The Little Mermaid
  • Sunday, March 8: 12 to 2 p.m. Cinderella and Spidey

Magic shows, live theatre, pirate re-enactments, storytellers, music, belly dancing, and a meet & greet with the Jacksonville Sharks also will be available during the event. See the full schedules below …

And, of course, the Seafood Festival features dozens of seafood vendors and other fair foods, adult beverages, more than 100 arts & crafts vendors, live Jazz and Americana music on the main stage, and kids rides and games!

Festival hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 6; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 7; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 8. The Arts & Crafts Village closes at sundown each day.
