Feb. 8-10: Lord of the Flies at St. Augustine High School

Students from the St. Johns County Center for the Arts (SJCCA) at St. Augustine High School will be on stage Feb. 8-10 in Lord of the Flies. There are two casts — all male and all female — with two student directors, seniors in SJCCA.

Lord of the Flies — During an unnamed war, a group of schoolkids are stranded on an island after their plane crashes. With no adult survivors of the crash, the kids are left to themselves to figure out their own survival. In an attempt to keep order, the kids elect a leader. When another child decides to form a rival group. One by one the kids move from civility to barbarism and savagery.
