From Flagler Hospital Auxiliary
The Flagler Hospital Auxiliary is once again featuring its Light of Hope Holiday Tree. Each ornament on the tree symbolizes a donation made in honor or in memory of a loved one.
Donations are $5, $25, $100 and $150, with the tree located in the hospital’s main lobby featuring the names of those honored.
For information on how to participate obtain a donation card at the hospital’s main lobby information desk or call the volunteer office, 819-4411 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Golden Key and Milestone awards were recently presented to auxiliary members with Bob Sauerhoff leading the group having donated 31,500 hours. He was followed by Cora Biddulph, 23,500 hours.

Golden Key Awards, given to volunteers who go above and beyond their assigned duties were given to Nancy Barnes, Charles “Sonny” Mares and Margaret Mosca.
Upcoming events for the auxiliary include the Nov. 25 bake sale in the hospital cafeteria beginning at 8 a.m. Proceeds will go toward the auxiliary’s pledge for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Members are asked to bring their baked goods to the volunteer office by Nov. 24.
The next auxiliary board meeting continues from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 20 in the Houston Conference Room.
