St. Johns County residents enjoy free admission to the following tours and attractions in September (not valid on Labor Day weekend):

Valid with a resident local ID: Local driver’s license or voter’s registration.

Not accepted: Utility bills, rental contracts, etc. Must request at ticket booths.

SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM DAY

Sept. 23: Admission is FREE on Saturday, Sept. 23 to the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum (81 Lighthouse Ave.), the Ximenez-Fatio House (20 Aviles St.), the Pena-Peck House (143 Saint George St.) and Lightner Museum (75 King St.) on Smithsonian Museum Day, an annual event. The Museum Day Live! ticket provides free admission for two people.

Museum Day Live! is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket. 

Tickets will be available to download on August 25, 2017.

Did you know that St. Johns County residents with a valid ID are always admitted FREE of charge to SEVEN local attractions? In addition, residents and visitors receive FREE admission to DOZENS of other sights, including city and county parks, art galleries, winery and distillery tours, and more. Also FREE to everyone, summer concerts and movies!

  • FREE summer concerts — 7 p.m. Wednesdays in the pavilion at the St. Augustine Beach Pier; and 7 p.m. Thursdays in the gazebo of the Plaza de la Constitucion in downtown St. Augustine.
