Golf tournament to benefit Palencia Elementary School

St. Augustine, FL — Golfers are invited to play in the Second Annual Palencia Elementary School FORE! The Kids Golf Tournament on Sept. 16.

Presented by Lou Sobh’s Honda of the Avenues and the Palencia Club at the Palencia Club , the charity tournament benefits technology and curricula enhancements at Palencia Elementary School (PES) located in St Augustine.

The golf tournament will be held at The Palencia Club, 600 Palencia Club Drive, from U.S. 1 North, in St. Augustine.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shot gun start. This four-person scramble will exceed player expectations. During registration, participants will relax with neck and shoulder massages provided by Pure Balance Wellness and Yoga and Smoothie King smoothies.

On course, players will enjoy complimentary on course appetizers and beverages such as Zaxby’s Nibblers; Donovans Irish Pub cheeseburger sliders andbeverages from Burkhardt Sales and Services and Coffee Perks.

In addition to serving as title sponsor, Lou Sobh’s Honda of the Avenues will award team prizes such as bluetooth wireless speakers, streaming media devices, on ear headphones, gift cards and golf accessories.

The PES PTO looks forward to maximize this fundraising opportunity. For the second year in a row, The Palencia Club has graciously donated the course and clubhouse banquet rooms free of charge to the PES PTO, a gift valued at over $10K.

The goal is to max out the course with 32 foursomes (128 players). The player registration fee is $150, which includes cart use, Firehouse Subs boxed lunch, complimentary on-course snacks and beverages, player welcome bag, proximity contests, team awards and dinner catered by Ancient City MOJO BBQ.
