A December to Remember: FREE movies, concerts and more at the Amphitheatre

Duran Duran to perform at the StAdmission is FREE to most events, with Santa, train rides, face painting and other free children’s activities

St. Augustine, FL – Community First Credit Union and the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division proudly announce the return of Community First Credit Union’s “A December To Remember” to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Friday, Nov. 28 marks the beginning the month-long series of family-friendly, community-based holiday festivities that will include free and ticketed concert events, free movie nights, a holiday revue, Santa appearances, train rides and much more!

This year’s Community First Credit Union’s “A December To Remember” is packed with exciting holiday events such as free movies screenings of beloved holiday films like “It’s A Wonderful Life,” “Home Alone,” “Miracle on 34th Street,” and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

There will be a free performance by Manhattan Transfer and a Rockapella Holiday Revue, a Children’s Storytime Reading and Elf Workshop, food trucks movie night, a production of “Yes, Viriginia” by Murray Middle School and more. The Amphitheatre will be open to the public and fully decorated all month long with lights, festive décor, a holiday tree, an Elf Village and festive music. Families are invited to enjoy free train rides, visits with Santa, face-painting and a bounce house during the free holiday events held at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. All free, family-friendly events at the Amphitheatre are presented by Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (FOSAA).

Similar to last year, the St. Johns County community is an important focus for this year’s series. The St. Johns Cultural Events Division will be collecting non-perishable food items and new or gently used toys for distribution to local non-profit organizations at each event.
