Did someone say SEAFOOD? The 36th Annual St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival returns this year March 3-5 at Francis Field, 29 W. Castillo Drive, downtown St. Augustine. Seafood vendors from all over Florida, more than 100 artists and crafters, and an entertainment lineup featuring a wide variety of music are just a few of the highlights!
Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 3; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 4; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 5. Admission is $5 for adults; children 15 and under are admitted free. Active duty military with ID are also free. Proceeds from the festival benefit the charitable activities of the St. Augustine Lions Foundation.
The festival will serve up boatloads of seafood — with everything from lobster tail and conch fritters, to southern fried shrimp, octopus, wild salmon, jambalaya and blue crab burritos on the menu. Other food choices include pizza, barbecue, Greek, sweet treats and so much more.
The music lineup includes Linda Cole (niece of Nat King Cole), the Florida State Bluegrass Band, Lonesome Bert & The Skinny Lizards, Catch the Groove, the Murray Middle Jazz Band, Billy Buchanan, Katherine Archer, and the Gatorbone Trio! See the full music schedule below.
More than 100 arts and crafts vendors will also exhibit their handmade and original artwork in the Arts Village, a favorite of festival-goers.
The Kidz Zone features games, rides, and children can meet their favorite superhero or fairy tail princesses, and take photos!
