May 3-5: Gamble Rogers Music Festival features 50+ music acts

The 24th Annual Gamble Rogers Music Festival will take place May 3-5 on three stages at the Colonial Quarter, 33 Saint George St., downtown St. Augustine. Fifty-plus acts will perform during the three-day event. See the music lineup below.

Local, regional and national artists will take the stage, along with a Folk School, children’s activities, new merchandise designed by Skinny Lizard T-shirts, and a Music Fest Ale created by Ancient City Brewing.

Headliners include Brett Bass and Melted Plectrum, Phoebe Hunt and the Gatherers, Pierce Pettis, Dom Flemons, Hawktail, and The Willowwacks.

The Gamble Rogers Music Festival honors the late James Gamble Rogers IV, a singer, songwriter, and storyteller who balanced a love of balladry and folk songs with a passion for the oral tradition and storytelling. Rogers was just hitting his peak when he died on October 10, 1991, trying to save a man from drowning.

Advance tickets are $50 after through May 2. Children under 12 are always admitted free. Note: Single day tickets will only be sold on the day-of, space permitting.
