May 9: Kaleidoscope of Dance features local dance groups

St. Augustine, FL – Celebrate the art of dance during the Romanza Festivale’s Kaleidoscope of Dance, on stage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, 14 Granada St., downtown St. Augustine. Romanza Festivale of the Arts, a celebration of art and music in America’s Most Romantic City, features 100 events and exhibits by dozens of organizations from May 5 through May 14.
Local dance groups will perform including the tap group Noise Complaint; Flamenco Perspective; 3’N Motion; Blue World Dance Company; Dancing with Victoria; Pedro Menendez High School; Sara Camacho; SJCCA Dance at St. Augustine High School; Freddick Bratcher  and Company; Honey Burton and Stephen Mahood; St. Augustine Dance Conservatory; Ancient City Sirens; and Florida School of the Arts.

Blue Lotus is part of the Kaleidoscope of Dance on May 9 in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College.

Approximately 175 dancers, representing age ranges from middle school through senior citizen, will perform 18 dance numbers. Genres include ballet, tap, ballroom, bellydance, jazz, hip hop and contemporary.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Tickets also will be available at the door prior to the performance.

Daily events include music and dance performances, concerts, art shows, dramatic productions and much more at locations throughout the city.
Many events are free and admission is required for the others. Getting around town to enjoy the events during the 10-day Romanza Festivale in St. Augustine should be a breeze.
