One year after launching on the FM Dial at 102.3 FM, Newstalk WFOY Receives Full Power Upgrade & Begins Broadcasting at 102.1 FM


St. Augustine, FL) — Locally owned and operated Phillips Broadcasting of St Augustine announced today that Newstalk WFOY — one year after broadcasting at 102.3 FM — has received a full power upgrade from the Federal Communications Commission and has begun broadcasting at 102.1 FM.

WFOY will continue to simulcast on AM 1240, a position it has held for over 76 years. Newstalk WFOY will broadcast online at its new website:

WFOY 102.1 FM will serve the St Johns County region and augment its two long-held AM stations, the 76-year-old heritage news/talk/local information WFOY AM 1240 and ESPN Sports Radio WAOC AM 1420.
