St. Augustine, FLÂ â€”Â Get aÂ head start on holiday shopping on the Holly Jolly Shopping Spree on Nov. 21 in uptown St. Augustine. This annual event offersÂ a chance to find thoughtful gifts and seasonal clothing in uptown shops, galleries, boutiques and restaurants (gift certificates!).
Colonial St. Augustine Foundation organizesÂ the unique event each year.Â The sixth annual Holly Jolly Shopping Spree will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Â Saturday, Nov. 21.
Gifts, holiday decorations, and other special treasures will be there for the picking. Itâ€™s also an opportunity to support local Uptown businesses who so generously support our community.
Donâ€™t miss the inauguralÂ â€œBloody Mary Kickoff,â€Â a unique taste hosted at 9 a.m. byÂ The Spice and Tea ExchangeÂ at 167 San Marco Ave.
After your spicy exchange, youâ€™ll catch a sightseeing trolleyÂ (Old Town Trolley Tours)Â for a journey designed specially for you â€” a whirlwind shop-a-thon that meanders from along San Marco Avenue, with lots of stops along the way. Oh, and thereâ€™s a scheduled layover atÂ Raintree Restaurant.Â Thatâ€™s where youâ€™ll be served a tasty lunch. You will have a chance to win raffle prizes (sponsored byÂ Spanish Dutch Convoy, Leather Goods & Bags) and bid on fab silent auction items.

This year, a portion of the proceeds will be used to award scholarships toÂ â€œAncient City Explorers (ACE),â€ an interactive history camp for elementary school students. ACE is a partnership between the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum and Investing in Kids (INK).
