Nov. 21-Jan. 31: Nights of Lights, which includes more than 2 million lights on City of St. Augustine buildings and businesses, continues through Jan. 31, 2016. The switched was flipped on Nov. 21, and the trolleys runÂ Nov. 22 through the first week of January (see listings below).
HOLLY JOLLY HOLIDAY TROLLEY
Nov. 22-Jan. 3: Hope on theÂ Holly Jolly Holiday Trolley to view the Nights of Lights. The trolleys depart from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 22 through Jan. 3 for a 30-Â minute tour of the oldest city. BIG RED CHRISTMAS TRAIN
Nov. 22-Jan. 5:Â All aboardÂ Ripley’s Red Trains for an amazing “lightseeing” tour of the Oldest City, decked out with millions of white lights. Dec. 18-25: A holiday spectacular is offered each Christmas season by Turning Point at Calvary Baptist Church, 3500Â State Road 16. This year’s Light of Christmas schedule is Dec. 4-6, Dec. 11-13 and Dec. 18-25. Hours are 6Â to 9 p.m. each night. Other highlights include hot chocolate, cookies and photos and hay rides available on theÂ weekend dates, but not on Dec. 21-25. THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
Dec. 11-Jan. 3: The classic holiday story, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, comes to life on stage Dec. 11 through Jan. 3 at Limelight Theatre, 11 Old Mission Ave., uptown St. Augustine. Featuring more than 20 local actors and children, the story centers around a couple trying to produce a church Christmas pageant. They must cast the Herdman kids â€” the most inventively awful kids in history. You wonâ€™t believe the mayhem! Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday matinees. A Terrific Tuesday performances is Dec. 15 with two for $30 tickets. Regular ticket prices are $26 for adults, $24 for seniors, $20 for students and military; and a free child ticket (12 and younger) with each full price paid adult ticket. No shows on Dec. 24-25.
