Oct. 27: Jail Break 5k features race, trick or treating, and fun at Old Town Trolley

VeloFest and Old Town Trolley Team Up for Year Three

VeloFest is excited to announce Jail Break 5k, Escape from St. Augustine year 3 with premier partner Old Town Trolley.

As the fastest growing 5k in north Florida, we are excited to bring you our full list of amazing perks, entertainment and fun for this years event.

Our newest addition, Trick or Treat Old Town, a partnership with Early Act, the elementary Rotary Club benefits St. Francis House Pantry. The young and young at heart can make their way around the Old Town including four historic homes for treats, tricks, free helmets and lights for free with a canned/packaged food donation.

First 50 to register will receive a free shirt and we hope to see everyone in their favorite costume!

Proceeds benefit VeloFest Community Initiative projects and programs including Light Up the Bikes free light program, Don’t Be a Salmon education project and bike rodeo helmets!

$10 of all individual registrations will go to Hurricane Michael relief. Teams of four or more for the 5k or 0.0 can save $20 per registration online. Trick or Treat and other on-site events are FREE!

Davis Loose and the Loose Cannons will perform during the Jail Break 5K at Old Town Trolley.

Highlights include:

• Point to Point 5k from the Old Jail with scenic course to the Atlantic Ocean in Vilano Beach

• Amazing swag including a Dark Cycle designed t-shirt and entry to Old Jail

• Finisher medals custom design including “Alligator on a Bike” by Dark Cycle

• All age group winners receive one entry to The Alligator Farm
