Pilot Club Caladiums Are Here

The caladiums have arrived.

Members of the Pilot Club of St. Augustine traveled to Lake County Farms in Lake Placid in early March to pick up the caladium bulbs which are available to the public in the colors of red, pink and white.

Cost is . 12 @ $10; 25 @$20; 50 @ $35;  100 @ $65. Bulbs may be ordered in advance by calling 824-2486; 471-2246; 692-2663; or  806-6000.

Orders may be picked up  March 14 from  9 a.m. to noon at the Watson Realty parking lot, U.S. 1 South.

Also available March 14 will be fresh-from-the-field cabbage for a donation of $1 per head, with proceeds going to the Donnie Heymen scholarship, awarded yearly to a carpentry student at the First Coast Technical College.

Proceeds from the sale of the caladiums support a variety of Pilot Club-sponsored projects ranging from youth and patriotic activities to projects supporting those with brain injuries.
