Continuing a tradition that began in the Gilded Age, Flagler College will once again be the site of one of the area’s most elegant and glamorous New Year’s Eve events. The Flagler College New Year’s Eve Gala will take place Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. in the resplendent ballroom of the college’s campus centerpiece: the former Hotel Ponce de Leon.

This year’s “Black and White Masquerade” theme offers a twist on the popular event: guests may attend in black-tie-formal or masquerade attire. The Music Unlimited Orchestra will headline.

Tickets are $200 per person and include a cocktail hour, plated dinner, dessert buffet, open bar, and a champagne toast at midnight.

The gala raises money for the Flagler College Scholarship Fund, which helps offset tuition costs for many students with financial need. Thirty percent of the ticket price is tax deductible.

To inquire about the event or purchase tickets, contact Stephanie Snyder, assistant director of college relations at ssnyder@flagler.edu or 904-826-8572.
