An international award winning cat lives in Elkton, a tiny community just southwest of St. Augustine.

Born and raised in this small farm community is a silver tabby American Shorthair cat that has grown up to be a World Champion.

As is befitting a World Champion his stage name is International Winner, Supreme Grand Champion Carocats Solo Bashert.

Carocats is the name of the cattery he was born into, Solo because he was the only one in his litter, and Bashert is a Hebrew name meaning Destiny. Solo was destined to be the BEST.

He was Best Of his Breed in world competition competing and beating thousands of cats in TICA (The International Cat Association) in 2014 to 2015, and from 2015 to 2016.

Solo will be on display and competing in the Second Annual Ancient City Cat Club Show on Saturday and Sunday, February 25-26 at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center, 1300 Duval Street, St. Augustine. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Please join us in supporting and cheering on our home grown local celebrity and World Champion. For further information email or contact Carol at 904-829-0381.
