This year’s Festival will also include an expanded music industry development series, hosted by Sound Diplomacy, the leader of the international Music Cities movement which strategizes with cities to build culture into the urban environment through policy. Founder and President Shain Shapiro announced that “Sound Diplomacy is proud to partner with the Sing Out Loud Festival on its music industry development day, where we will curate – in partnership with the festival – a mini-conference to support the business development of St. Johns’ artists and creatives. Topics will range from booking to marketing, promotion and business literacy and will feature a number of music industry professionals from around the country.” A full schedule of workshops will be announced this summer.

2019 marks a new Festival partnership with local distillery, St. Augustine Distillery. As the official Sing Out Loud Festival presenter, St. Augustine Distillery is supporting the Festival’s core commitment of highlighting the vibrant arts scene of St. Augustine and ensuring that the Festival is accessible to all through its hundreds of free performances. “St. Augustine Distillery is thrilled to be a title sponsor the 4th Annual Sing Out Loud Festival,” said Philip McDaniel, CEO of St. Augustine Distillery Co. “The opportunity to help support what is becoming a world-class music festival, free of charge to locals and visitors, with original music and performances by local musicians was a dream come true for us.”

With a dozen headlining acts, hundreds of local and regional artists still to be announced, the Sound Diplomacy partnership, a soon-to-be-released Intuition Ale Works Sing Out Loud brew and more surprises, the Festival has exceeded all expectations and has been propelled into the national spotlight. “This year’s lineup is a testament to the Festival’s growing reputation, not just in our community but in the music industry and within the festival circuit,” Ryan Murphy, festival curator and director of The Amp St. Augustine, explained. “For Sing Out Loud to be Kacey Musgraves’ only southeast appearance this fall and to have so many heavy hitters on board to play is phenomenal. I am incredibly proud of how this Festival has grown in notoriety so quickly.”

The Sing Out Loud Festival is an annual live entertainment festival held throughout September in St. Augustine, Florida and is proudly presented by St. Augustine Distillery Co with additional support from Champion Brands. The Festival is produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division (which owns and operates The Amp St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall), the St. Johns Tourist Development Council and the St. Johns Cultural Council. Since its inception in 2016, the St. Augustine music festival has welcomed an estimated 50,000 music fans, featured over 900 performing artists at over a dozen venues and raised over $100,000 for charitable organizations such as the Betty Griffin House of St. Johns County, United Way and the OneOrlando Fund.
