St. Anastasia Catholic Church’s music department will conclude its 5th concert season with the music of Bach and Dvorak. The free concert at 7 p.m. March 21, will feature Shannon McKay, Cathedral Basilica organist and pianist; and Helen Morin, violinist. Local cellest Brittany Maroney will make a guest appearance.

 McKay is principal organist at the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine. She has studied at Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore; Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri; and Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga.

 Morin, earned a Master of Music in Violin Performance with Lucia Lin at Boston University and holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin from Trinity College of Music, London, England.

Maroney graduated from the University of North Florida where for four years she was recipient of the Most Outstanding Musician of the Year award. She is a member of the string trio, Triolet, and she also performs solo at special events in the area.

The concert is open to the public. The church is located at 5205 A1A South, on Anastasia Island. Parking is free is available. Call 471-5364 for information.
