St. Augustine Fashion Week continues with Season 5 in 2019, showcasing area designers

In its third year and fifth season, St Augustine Fashion Week has established itself as the city’s largest fashion event. Attracting hundreds of people into the city, introducing designers, increasing awareness, building confidence in local fashion industry while working toward boosting the local economy.

THE EVENTS

March 2-10: St. Augustine Fashion Week returns for Season 5 with local designers and models. The event begins with “The Lounge” on March 2 presented by St. Augustine Premium Outlets. On March 8-9, runway events featuring 20 small brand designers and 20+ Emerging Student Designers will take place at The Assembly Room Events at Art ‘n Motion, 283 San Marco Avenue, in the Fullerwood area of St. Augustine. GIVING BACK

STAFW is committed to working with other local non-profit organizations who are passionate about positively changing the fabric of our community. As a nonprofit, portions of proceeds from STAFW events get donated right back to our community in areas of need. Our past shows have benefitted the following local charities:

Season 5 March 3-10 2019 Benefiting Charities:

The Arc. of St. Johns – Art Transcends Boundaries Art Transcends Boundaries (ATB) is an inclusive arts program designed to develop the creative talents and skills of the special needs community. The program faculty has a diverse art, dance, and theater background. They have designed a curriculum that stresses a hands-on approach using a variety of media, instruction and techniques and presents the subject within a historical and cultural context. ATB empowers our students by providing the necessary tools, training and support. ATB cultivates our students’ abilities, passions, communication skills, and enables them to express it through artwork. ATB is committed to identify and create opportunities to showcase the talent of our students across multiple venues within the community and celebrate their unique abilities in an environment of acceptance.
