The historic St. Francis Inn has teamed up with Tesla Motors and Select Registry™ to provide an increasingly desirable amenity to their guests ~ electric car chargers that are environmentally conscious. St. Francis Inn owner Joe Finnegan erxplains he is keeping up with the automotive industry and also ‘staying green’.

Joining a rapidly growing network of resorts in ‘Tesla Destination Charging’ that are partnering with a few members of Select Registry™, the St. Francis Inn and other properties throughout the U.S. are providing guests around the world with charging equipment. This gives the Tesla drivers and other electric auto owners the freedom to charge wherever they want to travel by replicating the charging convenience owners are accustomed to at home.

Guest Stefan Zander comments “I really appreciate Joe Finnegan providing this electric vehicle charging service at his inn. It simplifies my trip planning because I don’t have to plan around getting to the next Tesla Supercharger. I can simply plug in overnight and be ready to go when I get up in the morning. It’s super convenient and addresses a real need for me and other EV owners”.

There are two charging stations for guests as a complimentary amenity ~ located in the private parking lot on St. George Street across from the historic inn. These reserved spaces will be designated for (1) Tesla automobile and (1) other electric vehicle.

The only bed & breakfast in St. Augustine that offers this service and the only member of Select Registry™ in the region, each member boutique property has to pass an unannounced, rigorous 200-point quality assurance inspection to earn and maintain its Select Registry membership. The St. Francis Inn can be viewed on the Tesla Destination Charging station website and also available in every Tesla vehicle’s touch screen through the navigation system.
