The Sixth Annual Think Pink in October Motorcycle Ride, an event sponsored by Unity Outreach, Inc., to raise funds for those fighting breast cancer in our community, continues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Flagler Imaging Center, 101 Health Park Blvd., St. Augustine. Register for this life-saving, worthwhile event at: thinkpinkinoctober.com. Riders may pre-register online or the day of the event.

Unity Outreach, the nonprofit organization presenting this annual event, helps provide resources, support and hope to those fighting breast cancer, said the organization’s president and founder Peggy Turner-Jones.

“This is a police-escorted ride that goes on rain or shine throughout St. Jones County,” she said. “It’s a 70-mile ride.” Proceeds provide monetary support for breast cancer patients in our community.”

In addition to the ride, there is also a car show, live band, silent auction, 50-50 raffle and vendors.
