Variety Of Events Planned For Holidays

The Women’s Networking Wine Social continues from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 2 at Tim’s Wine Market, 128 Sea Grove Main St. Those attending are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for an elementary aged child. The gifts will be donated to children in need in West Augustine through a retired elementary school teacher.

Wine will be available by the glass or buy a bottle and share and consume on the premises. Soft drinks will also be available for purchase. RSVP to Kathryn Vaughn, 461-0060.


Relay for Life of St. Augustine will host a Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 10 a.m. Dec. `4 at Applebee’s. Tickets are $10, and include a beverage, pancakes, eggs and sausage.

Also planned is an Adventure Landing Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 30 at the St. Augustine location. Tickets are also $10 each for unlimited go-karts and putt-putt . Tickets must be purchased in advance, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.


The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club will gather for a luncheon meeting Dec. 2 welcoming speaker Caddie Miller from Pottery Barn. She will discuss holiday decorating ideas.

Charity guest speaker will be Tanya Rhodes from the Florida School for The Deaf and The Blind.

Members are asked to bring gifts from the Angel Tree selection (FSDB student); and the Penpals (SAYS.)


A Farmers Market is planned Dec. 13 on the campus of the First Coast Technical College. Vendors and others interested in the project are invited to call 547-3386. Available will be poinsettias, datil pepper and barbecue sauces, succulent plants, fresh baked goods, jewelry, local grown vegetables and more.
