St. Augustine Amphitheatre Farmers Market: Every Saturday — Find fresh produce, plants, bread, cheese, handmade products, fine art and crafts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340 A1A South, just south of the lighthouse. Nocatee Market: Third Saturday of the month — The Nocatee Farmers Market features more than 70 vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every third Saturday of the month in the Nocatee community. Free admission and parking in the Nocatee community (in Ponte Vedra Beach).

The Mini Vintage Flea: St. Augustine’s only monthly vintage market hosted by Two Girls One Market from 6-9 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at Muggy’s Bar outdoor area, 213 West King St., in St. Augustine, Florida. Area and regional vintage vendors feature clothing, home goods, accessories, and other retro items. Two Girls One Market is comprised of Rosalie Cocci and Katie Vidal, both Flagler College graduates and well-known vintage vendors in St. Augustine.

Bright Star at Limelight Theatre

Music & Art by the Sea

August 21-October 2: The 22nd Season of Music & Art by the Sea continues on August 21 and runs every Wednesday through October 2 at the pavilion located at the St. John’s County Ocean Pier at St. Augustine Beach. The fall series features 7 shows including 3 very special nights. The Jamology Concert Stage will feature the US Navy Brass Band on Wednesday, September 11. On September 18, in a collaboration with the St Johns County Cultural Council, the LPT Latin Band will perform to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. LPT is a 10-piece band, including a four-person horn section, a three-piece percussion section, bass, keyboards, and lead vocals. LPT has opened from Santana, Trombone Shorty and has performed all over the Southeast US at the Savannah Jazz Festival and Suwanee Rising. This high energy band will have everyone up and dancing! The fun begins with a local art exhibition at The Art Studio at 3 PM, pavilion seating opens at 4 PM, with food service from a local restaurant or food truck begins at 5 PM. The Gilded Age: Treasures from Lightner Museum

August 1-December 31: Displayed in the grand ballroom of the former Hotel Alcazar, The Gilded Age: Treasures from the Lightner Museum presents a lavish display of fine and decorative art created during a defining period in American history. A dynamic era that shaped modern America, the Gilded Age witnessed the sudden rise of a new millionaire class whose wealth derived from emerging industries including railroads, oil, and steel manufacturing. Founder’s Day in St. Augustine celebrating 459 years

September 7: Join the annual commemoration of the founding of the city of St. Augustine. On September 8, 1565, Spanish Admiral Pedro Menendez and his fleet made landfall and were greeted by the indigenous Timucuan tribes. At 10 a.m. there will be a historical reenactment of the 1565 landing at Mission Nombre de Dios, followed by a celebration of Catholic Mass at the outdoor rustic altar. Admission is free.

The Maze at Sykes Family Farms

October 5-27: Nine acres of a local farm becomes The Maze each October at Sykes Family Farm — with live music, the maze, games such as a corn cannon, live animals, pumpkin painting, kids activities and more, located at 5995 Brough Road in Elkton, just off State Road 207. The event includes a 9-acre maze, farm animals, hayrides, children’s play area, pumpkin patch, food vendors, artisans and fall fun. The St. Augustine Greek Festival

October 11-12: Escape to Greece during Greek Fest – Taverna Style at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The annual St. Augustine Greek Fest is shaking things up during this year’s event to provide guests a truly authentic Greek experience. The Dracula Ballet

October 11-12: St. Augustine Ballet will stage The Dracula Ballet on October 11-12 at 7 p.m. in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, 14 Granada St., downtown St. Augustine, Florida. The St. Augustine Ballet invites the community and its visitors to a new and thrilling Halloween tradition, The Dracula Ballet. The story is based on Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire. St. Augustine Lighthouse celebrates 150 Years

October 14-18: The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum is celebrating 150 years of providing a welcoming beacon of light for the historic port of St. Augustine and its beautiful coastline. The tower’s massive lens was first lit on October 15, 1874 and a special 150th birthday celebration will take place this year on October 15. A kickoff celebration for a year-long anniversary is planned for Monday, October 14 through Friday, October 18, 2024.

Creatures of the Night at St. Augustine Alligator Farm

October 18-20: Creatures of the Night at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm takes place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. October 18-20. Meet eerie bugs and beasts, explore the park, and fill your bag with treats. More details at www.alligatorfarm.com

Cracker Day

October 19: The St. Johns County Cattlemen’s Association will host the annual Cracker Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 19 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, 5840 S.R. 207, in Elkton. The event will feature pony rides, horse games, food trucks including barbecue, and a farmers market with 75+ area vendors. Cracker Day celebrates cracker horses and cracker cattle, which were brought to the area by the Spanish. “Cracker” also refers to a cowboy who uses a whip to round up cattle, which makes a cracking sound when used. Vilano Vibe-Rations

October 19: Vilano Beach Main Street will host Vilano Vibe-Rations from 11-6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19 at Vilano Beachfront Park, 2725 Anahma Drive, St. Augustine, Florida — at the end of Vilano Road in Vilano Beach, next to the ocean. Trick-or-Treat and Harvest Festival at the Ximenez-Fatio House

October 26: The 4th annual Trick-or-Treat and Harvest Fest will take place from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, October 26 at the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, 20 Aviles Street, downtown St. Augustine. This must-attend community event features an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating fun, tours of our 225-year-old museum, contests, games, and fun for children of all ages. Costumes are not required but are heavily encouraged. All proceeds raised will go towards the preservation of our 2nd Spanish Period Coquina Museum. Admission is free. Donations are accepted.

Ancient City Kids Day

October 26: The annual Ancient City Kids Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Francis Field, 29 W. Castillo Drive, downtown St. Augustine. Coordinated by EPIC and brought to the community by a committee of children organizations, Ancient City Kids Day is a day of fun-filled activities for children and families. The event is FREE for the public, and will include over 40 youth service agencies offering carnival style games and activities, arts and crafts, contests for kids, and live entertainment all day. Information about community resources will be available for parents. There will  be free t-shirts/goody bags for kids while they last. The only cost to the public will be for food or drinks. Trick-or-Treating on Saint George Street

October 27: Trick-or-Treating will take place from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, October 27 at participating locations on Saint George Street in historic St. Augustine, Florida. This annual event is hosted by Ancient City Tours and the St. George Street Area Merchants. Children in costume are invited to trick or treat area businesses that have balloons or a welcome sign posted at the door. There will be a photographer at 12 St. George Street to capture the photos of all of the cute goblins, princes, princesses, and super heroes. Admission is free.

Nights of Pints

November 22-December 31: The 2023 Nights of Pints kicks off November 17 at three craft breweries in St. Augustine, Florida! The event coincides with Nights of Lights. Shirts are available through December 31. Beer cards are honored through December 31. Participants will be able to purchase a $35 shirt and punch card good for one free pint at participating breweries. This event benefits area nonprofits.

Ximenez-Fatio House Nights of Lights Holiday Art Tour

November 22-January 5: View artwork by area artists who have decorated 14 fireplaces at the circa 1798 Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, 20 Aviles Street, historic St. Augustine, Florida. This art exhibition is held during the Nights of Lights holiday season, with the 225-year-old history house decorated with holiday finery. November 23-January 26: Nights of Lights begins November 23, 2024 and continues nightly through January 26, 2025. Nights of Lights has been listed among the top ten holiday light displays in the world by National Geographic, During this festival of lights, downtown St. Augustine glows with holiday magic – from the ground to the rooftops. St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights features millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere in the Nation’s Oldest City. Admission is free.
