FREE FILM EVENTS!

Race: The Power of Illusion will be on screen in 3 parts on March 19, April 9 and April 23, each beginning at 2 p.m. at The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of St. Augustine.

This award-winning documentary series discusses the origins, beliefs and consequences of what we call race. Guest speakers and Q&A sessions to follow each screening. Masks required, vaccination strongly advised.

On March 19: Guest speakers Dr. Irvin PeDro Cohen, Executive Director: Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Jacksonville; and Dr. Lori Lee, Associate Professor of Anthropology, Flagler College

On April 9: Guest speakers Regina Gayle Phillips, Director of the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center; and Dr. Michael Butler, Kenan Distinguished Professor of History, Flagler College

On April 23: Guest speaker Dr. Rudy Jamison Jr., Director, Institute for the Study of Race & Ethnic Relations at the University of North Florida
