St. Augustine, FL – Pie in the Sky is thrilled to announce Peace in the Park 2024, an uplifting community event focused on celebrating peace and unity. This year’s event, marking the 15th anniversary of Pie in the Sky, will take place at Eddie Vickers Park (399 Riberia Street) from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Join us for an unforgettable day filled with music, creativity, and community spirit. Highlights of the event include:
– Human Peace Sign: Help us create a massive human peace sign, symbolizing our collective hope for peace in the world. The peace sign will be photographed by a drone and copies will be made available.
Live Music by The Peacenix: Groove to the sounds of peace as The Peacenix perform live, setting the tone for a harmonious day.
– Peace Pole Decorating: Get creative and decorate beautiful peace poles that will be displayed throughout the park, spreading messages of love and unity. Afterwards, thePeace Poles will be displayed at various locations throughout the community.
– Ginormous Bake Sale: Indulge in an incredible array of homemade goodies at our legendary bake sale. All proceeds benefit Pie in the Sky’s mission to support seniors and help fight senior hunger.
– New Pie Merchandise & Special 15th Anniversary Shirts: Be sure to stop by our merchandise tent to grab the latest Pie in the Sky gear, including special edition 15th anniversary t-shirts, so you can show your support for peace and our cause.
It’s a good time for peace, and we invite everyone in the community to come together for a day of positivity and connection.
Parking & Shuttle Information: Free parking is available at Eddie Vickers Park. Free overflow parking will be located at 134 Riberia Street, with free shuttle buses provided by Pineapple Express to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees.
