Southern rock icons will be the April 9th musical act for the next Concerts For A Cause
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Florida – The fourth in a series of fundraising concerts, Concerts For A Cause will welcome Southern rock icons, The Marshall Tucker Band, on Saturday, April 9 as part of the band’s 50th Anniversary Tour. Concerts For A Cause will be held at Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms in St. Augustine and all proceeds from the event will go to Northeast Florida Builders Association’s (NEFBA) philanthropic arm, Builders Care. Previous nonprofit recipients of Concerts For A Cause include St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), Investing in Kinds (INK!), and Alpha-Omega Miracle Home.
“We’ve hosted some amazing musical acts at Concerts For A Cause, which has helped us raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local nonprofit organizations,” explained Chris Shee, owner of Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms and Founder and CEO of MasterCraft Builder Group.
“Having rock legends The Marshall Tucker Band celebrate their 50th Anniversary Tour in St. Augustine is going to bring in a huge crowd. I expect to break our own fundraising record of $73,179 in order to help support the Builders Care mission!”
Northeast Florida Builders Association is the state’s largest builders association focused on networking, community outreach, and industry development. The organization’s philanthropic arm, Builders Care, is a faithbased nonprofit construction contractor with a mission to provide affordable to no cost construction services to the elderly, disabled, and other nonprofits in Northeast Florida. Shee took over as Chairman of Builders Care on January 1, 2022.
“We plan on holding Concerts For A Cause concerts three or four times per year with each event benefitting a different local nonprofit organization,” explained Shee.
“Personally, I’m really excited to see The Marshall Tucker Band play such Southern hits as ‘Can’t You See,’ “Fire on the Mountain,’ and ‘Heard It in a Love Song.’ Our first three concerts were a huge success and I expect this event to be even bigger!”

ABOUT THE CONCERT: The Marshall Tucker Band will perform with opening act Channing Wilson from 5:30pm to 10pm on Saturday, April 9th at Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms, 7310 US Highway 1 South, St. Augustine, Florida. Tickets are sold in 8-person pods ranging from $1,000 and up (per pod) as well as general admission tickets for $150 each.
