Sept. 29-Oct. 22: Limelight Theatre opens 32nd Season with The Music Man

St. Augustine, FL — The Limelight Theatre proudly unveils its much-anticipated lineup for Season 32, which kicks off September 29 with The Music Man. Each of the upcoming nine productions promises to deliver compelling stories and inspire audiences in the historic city of St. Augustine.

“Season 32 is full of celebration, joy, and hope,” said Sherrie Provence, executive director of the Limelight Theatre.

“Coming out of Season 31, which had quite a bit of drama, Limelight has a season that will bring positivity in a world that desperately needs it right now. I encourage patrons to get their season tickets and come enjoy an entire season of stories that will leave them feeling good about even the tough subjects in life. It’s time for hope to take center stage!”

Residents and visitors to St. Augustine are in for a treat with shows that feature tales of resilience, love, humor and the ever-enduring human spirit. It promises to be a season of not only entertainment but also reflection and inspiration.

THE 32nd SEASON

  • The Music Man, September 29 – October 22: Travel with Harold Hill, a con man with a heart, as he stirs a sleepy town into musical mayhem.

  • Storefront Church, November 10 – 26: Explore profound questions about spiritual experience and social responsibility in this third installment of John Patrick Shanley’s riveting trilogy.

  • Kitchen Witches, January 12 – 28: Dive into the world of TV cooking shows where the rivalry is as spicy as the food, leading to an unexpected ratings success.

  • Tuck Everlasting, February 9 – March 3: Embark on a magical journey with young Winnie Foster as she encounters the ageless Tuck family and faces a choice that will change her life forever.

  • Wait Until Dark, March 15 – 31: Engage in a tense cat-and-mouse game in this gripping tale of deceit, drugs and determination.

  • First Date, April 19 – May 12: Relive the ups and downs of a blind date in this modern musical comedy that explores the quirks of contemporary romance.

  • A Doll’s House Part 2, May 17 – June 2: Step into the aftermath of a revolutionary decision as Nora Helmer returns, challenging societal norms and expectations.

  • Always A Bridesmaid, June 14 – July 7: Share in the hilarious escapades of four lifelong friends as they honor a youthful vow to support each other through life’s big moments.

  • 9 To 5 The Musical, July 19 – August 11: Cheer on three women as they turn the tables on their troublesome boss, and in the process, reshape their workplace.
