July 9-10: Little Women the music on stage in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College

St. Augustine, FL —  Apex Theatre Studio will continue its summer season with the musical adaptation of Little Women on Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10 at 8 p.m.. at Lewis Auditorium, 14 Granada Street, downtown St. Augustine, on the campus of Flagler College.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Produced nationally and internationally, Little Women has been praised by critics for its ambition in adapting such a well-known story for the stage. This timeless, captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love.

The cast features students from Apex Theatre Studio’s Advanced Musical Theatre workshop and adult teaching artists. The role of Jo March is played by Mallorie Sievert, a rising sophomore at Elon University’s prestigious musical theatre program. The role of Professor Bhaer is played by guest artist Matt Morgan, Lecturer in Vocal Performance (Musical Theatre) at the University of Florida.
