Apex Theatre Studio will present the family friendly A Year with Frog and Toad on October 18th, 19th, and 20th at the black box theatre at Apex Theatre Studio located at 425 West Town Place, unit 112 in St. Augustine, Florida.
Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.
The production is under the direction of Joshua Sewell and Isabel Dondero.
“We are really excited to share this sweet tale with families in our studio space,” remarked Dondero. “It will allow younger audience members to connect with the performers in a friendly and fun way.”
Performances are Friday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19th at 11:00 a.m. and Sunday, October 20th at 2:00 p.m.
