Music legend Jose Feliciano performed on Friday, May 8 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre as part of the St. Augustine’s Romanza Festivale of the Arts, a 10-day event that features more than 100 arts events in St. Augustine, Florida.
Feliciano is a 9-time Grammy Award winner, and the creator of the famous song Feliz Navidad. He performed his original songs, along with cover tunes such as “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson, rock hits and other popular tunes. Feliciano was born blind in 1945 in Puerto Rico. Since the 1980’s, this virtuoso guitarist has been composing, singing, and performing music to audiences world wide.
