Guinness World Records ® has confirmed that Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! St. Augustine Odditorium and Ripley’s Red Trains have set a new Guinness World Records record for The Most People Pouring Ice Water Over Their Heads.

Ripley’s set the record Aug. 23, when 430 people simultaneously took ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at Ripley’s St. Augustine Odditorium.

Participants donated $5,000 which Ripley Entertainment matched for a total donation of $10,000 to the Florida Chapter of the ALS Association.

“We’re thrilled so many people came out to be part of this record-setting event,” Kim Kiff, Ripley’s Florida Attractions regional manager, noted. “But more importantly we raised a lot of money for a great cause.”
