New performers added to the line-up, same great location in Plaza de la Constitucion
Concerts in the Plaza, St. Augustine’s free summer-long music series, returns to the Plaza de la Constitución on Thursday, June 3, after the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVD-19. This year’s 30th Season is proudly hosted by the City of St. Augustine and the lineup surely will not disappoint. Several favorite bands will be returning to the gazebo along with many new ones who are no strangers to performing in St. Augustine.
The series includes two-hour concerts held every Thursday at 7:00pm starting June 3 and continuing through September 2. For complete information including a printable schedule visit www.CityStAug.com/Concerts.
On street parking is available near the Plaza and is free in all city-managed lots and on street parking after 5:00pm. Parking is also available in the Historic Downtown Parking Facility (HDPF), 1 Cordova St., located at the St. Augustine Visitors Information Center, a 10-minute walk from the Plaza. The cost for parking in the HDPF is $15 per entry or $3 with a ParkNow card.
Concerts may be cancelled or postponed due to weather. A cancellation or postponement will likely be a last-minute decision, due to the unpredictability of Florida’s summer rain showers.
If a concert is cancelled, the public will be notified on the city website at www.CityStAug.com/Concerts and on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/CityStAug.
Concerts in the Plaza is produced by the City of St. Augustine as a free cultural enhancement for residents and visitors. For more information, call 904.825.1004 during weekday office hours or email events@citystaug.com.
