Saint Augustine Film Festival – STREAMING 129 films

Jan. 14-24: The Saint Augustine Film Festival is going virtual in 2021. The 11th annual event will screen 129 films online from January 14-24, 2021. Originally scheduled for January 14-17 in St. Augustine venues, festival organizers have chosen a different option during the covid-19 pandemic, offering online movie-watching for a safe viewing experience. 5th Annual Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam & Car Show

Jan. 30: The 5th Annual Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam & Car Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 30 at Trout Creek Memorial Park and Marina, 6550 State Road 13 N Saint Augustine, FL 32092. Live music, BBQ vendors, a Cornhome Tournament (sign-up begins at 11 a.m.) and other vendor, a Family Fun Zone with inflatables, and a classic car show provided by A Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine. Live music by Heather Craig, Craig Hand, and Billy Glisson. Masks are recommended and social distancing will be practiced. Sanitizing stations will be available. My Vintage Valentine Card-Making

Feb. 4-28: My Vintage Valentine Card Making is hosted by The Odd Macabre Parlor, 76 Spanish Street, in us in downtown St. Augustine. Old Coast Ales 4th Anniversary

Feb. 5-7: Old Coast Ales, 300 Anastasia Blvd., is celebrating 4 years during regular hours February 5-7. Thankful to have made it through 2020, the local brewery will have 3 special beer releases during the event. Live music from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 6. Vilano Beach Artisans Market

Feb. 20: The Vilano Beach Artisan Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 20 at Vilano Beach Airstream Row, 190 Vilano Road, on the right just before Beaches at Vilano. Artisans and vendors will be spread out on the grounds. Vendors include Merry Tate’s (airstream shop featuring fashions and accessories), Ginger and Herbs (soaps, bath bombs, etc.), Fae’s BBQ (food truck), Crochet with Passion (crocheted items such as purses, clothing, etc.), Datil Bloody Mary Mix, Kristen’s Cupcake Cafe, Island Soul Designs (jewelry), Noelle Alexandra Home (handcrafted home decor), The Plant Moms, Mindful Eyes Artistry (natural artwork), Off Her Head Hat Shop, and many other vendors. Cathedral Festival

Feb. 26-28: Organizers of the Cathedral Festival in St. Augustine have announced that the 36th annual event will take place Feb. 26-28, 2021 on grounds of the Mission Nombre de Dios, off San Marco Avenue in uptown St. Augustine. The fundraiser is one of the area’s largest festivals featuring rides, games, bingo, a silent auction and a fireworks spectacular show. Proceeds go to the private Cathedral Parish School and the Cathedral Parish Early Education Center. A fireworks show will light up the sky at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 over the water near the grounds. Admission is $5 for adults; $3 for children 11-17 and adults 65 and older; with free admission for active duty military and children 10 and younger. Flower & Garden Expo

March 27-28: The 25th Annual Flower & Garden Expo will take place at a new location this year —at Sykes Family Farms, 5995 Brough Road in Elkton, off State Road 207, approximately 12 miles fro St. Augustine. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 27; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28. Growers, nurseries and vendors from throughout Florida will offer a variety of flowering plants and gardening accessories. Unique and beautiful arts & crafts, a special children’s area and more! A Taste of St. Augustine

April 25: The 24th Annual A Taste of St. Augustine will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 25 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Thirty of St. Augustine’s finest restaurants will offer samples of their signature dishes. The event includes live music as well as a Children’s Area.  Admission is $5. Race to the Tase 5K Run/Walk

April 25: The annual Race to the Taste 5K Run/Walk will begin with a 10:30 a.m. start on Sunday April 25 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Run a scenic 3.1-mile road race through Anastasia State Park, nearby neighborhoods and finish during the 24th Annual A Taste of St. Augustine inside the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. May 6-9: A world-class culinary and beverage celebration will take place on Florida’s Historic Coast, May 6-9, 2021 at the World Golf Hall of Fame. The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival will be a showcase of culinary, beverage and culture that highlights celebrity guest chefs, local chefs, celebrity winemakers/proprietors, artisans, farmers, local craft spirits and beers, along with renowned wine, spirits and beer brands from around the globe. STA Brewers Fest

May 8: The beautiful Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park in St. Augustine will be the host venue for the second annual St. Augustine Craft Brewers’ Festival from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021. This event will feature more than 20 local and regional craft breweries, including St. Augustine’s own BOG Brewing Company, Dog Rose Brewing Co., Old Coast Ales, and Ancient City Brewing. AS IF! The 90s Fest

May 15: On Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine, AS IF! The 90’s Fest will raise funds for ACE Alliance, the nonprofit chapter of Ancient City Entertainment committed to supporting St. Johns and Putnam County’s “movers and shakers” who dedicate their craft and livelihood to the culture of tourism, entertainment, and hospitality. ACE Alliance provides fellow artists and industry members disaster relief and wellness impact.

Headliner Eve 6, who rocked the 1990s with hit singles like “Inside Out,” “Here’s to the Night,” and “Promise,” will take the stage as well as bands like Spider Monkey, Ramona + the Riot, The Space Heaters, NKO Nerd Kill Overdrive, Bad Dog Mama, Chillula, The Swell Acoustics, and Salt and Pine.

AS IF! The 90’s Fest will be held on Saturday, May 15, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Francis Field, 25 West Castillo Drive in downtown St. Augustine. This action-packed, family-oriented, one-day event will feature live music, games, slime zone, a Lisa Frank selfie station, a 27-foot water slide, food trucks, and more.
