Vilano Beach, FL — The St. Augustine holiday glow just got brighter. Vilano Beach will come alive and share in a one-of-a-kind Christmas VIBE with its visitors. While more than 3 million lights sparkle during Nights of Lights in downtown St. Augustine, the Vilano Holiday Village will shine with an 18-foot-tall Christmas Tree serving as the center of festive celebrations. 

Get your glow on every Saturday in December with holiday happenings, including a tree lighting, visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, meet-the-authors event, holiday shopping with local artisans, dining at the all-new Pesca at Hyatt Place and other restaurants, Cirque Adventure’s high-flying Elf Circus Show, live music, hot chocolate and specialty coffee drinks, hotel packages, and other festive fun along Vilano Road in Vilano Beach, Florida. VILANO HOLIDAY VILLAGE SCHEDULE

Saturday, December 2: Tree Lighting Celebration at the VIlano Beach Pier Roundabout. View the 18-foot-tall tree and watch it “come alive” with thousands of bright lights! The festive kickoff of the Vilano Holiday Village will include appearances by Santa & Mrs. Claus and live music. Admission is free.

Saturday, December 9: Author Book Fair Extravaganza — Vilano Road will be lined with a variety of authors for meet-and-greets. Elf on the Shelf featured author Carol Aebersold will read to the group and be available for a book signing. All are welcome to bring to their own copy of the Elf on the Shelf book or can purchase them at Metalartz Gallery. Book proceeds will go to a local children’s charity. Admission is free.

Carol Aebersold is the co-founder of the Lumistella Company and a best-selling author. First thrust into the spotlight when her debut title, The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, skyrocketed to fame as a self-published book, Carol’s creation has become a beloved holiday tradition the world over. Touted by Hollywood elites like Mark Wahlberg, Drew Barrymore and the entire Kardashian clan for her creation, she’s been a featured guest on The Today Show, Rachel Ray, and The Talk, as well as on Fox News and CNN.

The event will include appearances by Santa & Mrs. Claus, and ELF movie night sponsored by Seaside Church. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas and bring chairs for the FREE screening! 

Saturday, December 16: Vilano Holiday Village Christmas Market — The perfect time to get unique and local holiday gifts in just one place. Meet local artisans who will offer the perfect gifts for that special someone. Appearances by Santa & Mrs. Claus and live music by Jeremy Weinglass. Jeremy began his music studies with classical piano lessons at the age of 6 and has amassed over 30 years of experience as a professional musician and composer with an expansive repertoire of classical, standards, musicals, rock and pop. Admission is free.

Saturday, December 23: Cirque Adventure’s high-flying Elf Circus is coming to town. This aerial and acrobatic show performed to favorite holiday tunes. There will be aerialists flying high in the air, acrobats flipping and tumbling everywhere. There will be elves juggling, jumping rope and of course there will be at least one elf up to some funny mischief! There will be three (30 minute) performances. St Johns County Fire and Rescue Department will showcase Emergency Vehicles at the event, with the opportunity to get up close and learn more about our local Emergency Responder. Admission is free.
