The Sanctuary Choir of Ancient City Baptist Church will present A Church Family Christmas on Sunday morning, December 6, at 11:00 AM during the regular morning worship service.
This presentation of A Church Family Christmas is a musical with favorite music arrangements and readings written from within the church members and family. The musical is filled with high-energy celebration songs, warm nostalgic moments, fresh contemporary settings, seasonal favorites, and meaningful worship moments.
Music Director Curtis Powell states, “Church. Family. Christmas. A Church Family Christmas! We celebrate family and faith through music and readings – music and song that tell the amazing story of the birth of Jesus and readings that have been inspired and penned by church family members and friends. We are excited to something slightly different that our usual organized cantata.”
The choir is under the direction of Curtis Powell. Guest narrator for the program is Brent Davis and soloist from within the ACBC Sanctuary Choir will be Sharon Haszard and Cindy Pitts. Pianist Laura Lineberry and organist Cheryl Worthington-Smith, will accompany the choir.
Ancient City Baptist Church is located in downtown St. Augustine on the corner of Sevilla and Carrera Streets. The program is free and the public is invited to attend. There are Covid protocols at the church and limited seating within the church sanctuary. The service will be interpreted for the deaf. There is free parking for all who attend.
