Limelight Theatre Presents Musical Version of Cult-Film, Heathers
St. Augustine, FL — This summer, the Limelight Theatre of St. Augustine will present the musical version of 1988 cult-film, Heathers. Nominee of the 2014 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical, Heathers the Musical is a hilarious, heartfelt, and homicidal new comedy.

Based on the classic 1988 film, Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchiewearing junta: Heather, Heather, and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger J.D., who plans to put the Heathers in their place – six feet under.
Heathers the Musical is directed by Bradley Akers, with music direction by Shelli Long and choreography by Missy Schmotzer. The cast features Ilana Gould, Brian Matthews, Bethany Paolini, Mara Grigg, Logen Cheatham, Catie Casey, Cameron Sparks, Craig Wickless, Cecilia Cristol, Bill Ratliff, Evan Gould, Rachel Cristol, Shannon Acevedo, Kianna Longhway, Jeno Tate, Noah Peacock and Austin Kelley.
