Limelight Theatre will stage Thoroughly Modern Millie on March 23-25 at Murray Middle School. Based on the Tony Award-winning musical and Academy Award-winning film, a small town girl searches for a new life under the bright lights of 1920s New York City.
KidzfACTory at Limelight Theatre is partnering with RJ Murray Middle School to stage the musical. The larger stage at the school will allow space for more than 30 local students to perform the tap dances and numbers in this classic musical.
Filled with fun flappers, dashing leading men and a villainess audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly Modern Millie JR. is a clever adaptation of the six-time-Tony-Award-winning Best Musical and the Academy Award-winning film. Thoroughly Modern Millie JR. is the high-spirited musical romp that has all of New York dancing the Charleston!
Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for students. Show times are 7:30 p.m. March 23-24; and 2 p.m. March 25 at the school, 150 North Holmes Blvd., St. Augustine. Tickets can be purchased in advance at limelight-theatre.org or by calling the box office at 904-825-1164. Tickets also will be available one hour prior to each performance at the school.
