April 6: Spring Market & Scavenger Hunt at Coconut Barrel
Shop from 40 indoor pop-up vendors on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Coconut Barrel, 2121 U.S. Hwy 1, in the former Ponce de Leon Mall building. Local artisans will offer handcrafted items. The first 100 shoppers will receive a gift at checkout. In addition, Captain Jack White, a pirate re-enactor, will host a fun scavenger hunt. April 6: Secret Garden Market at Jenna Alexander Studio
Jenna Alexander Studio, 73 San Marco Ave., will host the Secret Garden Market on Saturday, April 6 from 5-9 p.m. featuring area artisans and art by Jenna Alexander. Admission is free. An early shopping VIP event will take place from 4-5 p.m. with tickets for $25 that include: a tote bag, crowd-free no line experience.
April 6-7: St Augustine Lions Seafood Festival
The 41st annual St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival returns to Francis Field with seafood delicacies and all kinds of cuisine and county fair foods, live entertainment for the whole family, kids rides and 100 craft artisans. Enjoy two days of great food and fun including a live music lineup featuring regional and local favorites.
As always, the festival will serve up traditional fish and shrimp, lobster rolls and Cajun specialties but this year, there’s way more food selections to please all palates.
Festival hours are Saturday, April 6th from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Sunday, April 7th from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Arts & Crafts village closes at sundown. No pets allowed except service animals.

The fourth annual Lullaby of the Rivers Festival takes place on Earth Day weekend, April 20-21 at North Shores Community Park, 120 Meadow Avenue, St. Augustine. Bob Patterson, well-known activist and legendary in the Florida music community, has lined up some of the region’s most talented musicians to come and play at the Lullaby of the Rivers Festival. June 19: St. Augustine Music Festival Juneteenth Concert
“New Orleans meets Harlem” featuring the Marcus Roberts Trio will perform on June 19 in Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, 14 Granada St., downtown St. Augustine, Florida. The Festival Chamber Orchestra will join the Marcus Roberts Trio during the second half of the program to perform Rhapsody in Blue on the 100th anniversary of George Gershwin’s famous composition. The Juneteenth concert will be a ticketed event and more information will be provided at a later date. 2024 is the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act on July 2, 1964. This concert will be one of many events in St. Augustine during the year highlighting this historic legislation and highlighting the extensive history of Civil Rights in St. Augustine.
