Funkadelic Food Truck is funkalicious! This new food truck is located at 802 Anastasia Blvd., on the island in the Lee & Kates Glass parking lot in St. Augustine.
The menu offers burgers, seafood including shrimp, a catch of the day fish special, sliders, grilled cheese sandwich varieties, and a summer salad, along with fun sides such as beet root home fries, “tater” salad and pasta salad. SEE FOOD PHOTOS BELOW!
We tried the Shrimp Sliders with panko-crusted jumbo shrimp, avocado, applewood bacon, and siracha slaw. DELISH!
We also had the Burger made with ground brisket, short rib and chuck! Wow! The burger was topped with goat cheese (you can choose your fave cheese), funk sauce (a blend of sour cream, mayo, and spices), caramelized onions, and arugula. SO GOOD!
And we couldn’t pass up the Shrimp & Goat Cheezer with panko-crusted jumbo shrimp, goat cheese, mozzarella and provolone house-made pepper jelly … GOOEY & YUMMY, exactly like a good grilled cheese should be!
