The 5th Annual Sing Out Loud Festival is postponed until September 2021
St. Augustine, FL – In alignment with current health and safety guidelines, the 5th Annual Sing Out Loud Festival is postponed until September 2021. This year, the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, in partnership with the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, introduce a new version of the festival – Sing Out Loud: Virtual Sessions.
Beginning September 12, Sing Out Loud: Virtual Sessions will feature live stream performances by local musicians at various locations around St. Johns County each Saturday and Sunday during the month of September.
Sing Out Loud: Virtual Sessions will showcase 27 live-stream performances in the natural surroundings of St. Johns County. Not only will these locations provide a beautiful backdrop for the performances, but they also provide a safe environment for the artists and production team to produce live- streams at a safe distance. Filming locations for Sing Out Loud: Virtual Sessions include Nocatee Preserve, Alpine Groves Park, Beluthahatchee, Faver-Dykes State Park, Fort Mose, as well as the grounds of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
“We were all looking forward to celebrating and enjoying live entertainment this September, but for the safety and well-being of fans, staff, artists and our community, the standard form of the month-long festival will not take place this year,” said Gabe Pellicer, General Manager of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. “However, we still wanted to find a way to connect with our community, celebrate our local musicians, and also highlight the beautiful surroundings that St. Johns County has to offer. With that, we decided to adapt with the times and create the Sing Out Loud: Virtual Sessions. We are very grateful to the local, regional and national acts, the venues, the Tourist Development Council, our festival partners, as well as our volunteers for their continued support. We’re excited to hold the 5th Annual Sing Out Loud Festival in 2021.”
The Sing Out Loud: Virtual Sessions live-streamed performances will be accessible via the official Sing Out Loud Festival website at: www.singoutloudfestival.com, as well as the official Sing Out Loud Festival Facebook Page.
