The City of St. Augustine Beach continues to promote several socially responsible events that encourage visitors to the beach throughout our Light Up the BEACH! holiday season. These fun events are set against a backdrop of fabulous, colorful light displays mainly down A1A Beach Boulevard as well as throughout Pier Park. The light displays are a collaborative effort between the City and local businesses to invite visitors and locals alike to celebrate all that the beach has to offer.
Holiday Night Market – December 12, 2020
4:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. – St. Augustine Beach Pier Park – Bring the whole family to the first annual Holiday Market at the Pier. Stroll through the market where you will find local vendors with offerings for everyone on your holiday gift list.
The market, put on in association with the Wednesday Pier Farmers Market, will offer gift wrapping for your one-of a-kind purchases. Capture the family fun in our Grinchy-themed photo booth, discover delicious treats to take home, all while enjoying hot chocolate and the vibrant light displays at Pier Park. Special appearances by Kilo from the St. Augustine Beach Police Department and Santa Claus!
Art walk/Shop & Dine the Beach – December 19, 2020
4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. – Pope Road down A1A Beach Blvd. Various locations – Come take a stroll down A1A Beach Boulevard and visit our local artists in various locations including: Embassy Suites Hotel, LYMI, The Art Studio, 14th and 10th Street parkettes, Café 11, Coneheads Ice Cream Shop, The Sunshine Shop, Kookaburra and more!
In association with the Art studio of St. Augustine Beach, this event will feature artists and Artisans with many diverse items to offer from paintings, photography, prints, pottery, sculpture, jewelry and stained glass and local authors.
Offering many holiday themed pieces as well as affordable gift items. All handmade, all local. Many local businesses are offering something special during the event, from hosting artists, special sales, and even entertainment, there is something for everyone. Be sure and say hi to Kilo from the St. Augustine Beach Police Department who will be checking out the art on the Blvd.
